Kerala, India : Datuk Puvanesan Subenthiran, Executive Deputy Chairman and Group Managing Director of PRIVASIA Technology Berhad, has been awarded Maritime Technopreneur of the Year at the MARPORTS Global Excellence Awards 2026, held on 24 April 2026 at Lemon Tree Premier Hotel in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India.

The award recognises Datuk Puvanesan’s leadership in maritime digital transformation, smart port innovation, and technology-driven maritime ecosystem development. Under his stewardship, PRIVASIA has advanced the adoption of digital platforms, automation, AI-driven systems, and data-enabled operational technologies that improve efficiency, transparency, compliance, and collaboration across the maritime and logistics value chain.

SINGAPORE: PROCUREHERE, the enterprise digital procurement platform developed by PRIVASIA Sdn Bhd, has been awarded Silver in the Best CX Technology & Service Provider category at the CX Asia Excellence Awards 2026.

Now in its 12th edition, the CX Asia Excellence Awards attracted more than 200 submissions across 13 competitive categories, representing organisations from Southeast Asia, South Asia, North Asia, ANZ, and the Middle East. Winners were evaluated by an independent panel of industry experts based on innovation, measurable business outcomes, customer impact, and overall execution.

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 12): Digital and outsourcing solutions provider PRIVASIA Technology Bhd (KL:PRIVA) said on Wednesday that it will independently lead the development of a planned data centre project in Bagan Datuk, Perak.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, PRIVASIA said the project will now be spearheaded by its subsidiary, SILVER STREAMS Technofarm Sdn Bhd. The subsidiary will be responsible for all aspects of the project, including funding, feasibility studies, design, construction, operations and the land lease with Felcra Bhd.

The Edge Malaysia ESG Awards 2026 is organised in collaboration with Bursa Malaysia and FTSE Russell, with Morningstar as the knowledge partner for the funds category. UOB Malaysia returns as the main partner, alongside Deloitte as audit partner and Artelia as sponsor of the trophies.

The PLC awards drew their largest field yet, with 1,003 companies assessed for their ESG performance, up from 956 a year earlier, driven by broader coverage of the ACE Market.

The weighted average ESG score of Main Market and ACE Market PLCs rose to 2.72, from 2.5, over the same period, according to Bursa Malaysia. A total of 28 awards went to 27 companies across six PLC categories.
